This was a reactive repair for a site in Stirling where the owner had noticed that their sectional door was not sitting level.

We found that the left-hand cable was badly worn & frayed. If the cable had snapped, the door would have been jammed open, causing an obvious security concern.

A grub screw had become loose on the cable drum & had caused the damage. This was tightened & sealed with loctite to ensure the screw stayed in place. New cables were made on site & fitted to the door. The door was fully functional in about an hour.
